Forklift training

Southwest Arkansas has many amenities that make it perfect for both large industries and small businesses to call home. Through the UAHT Industry Relations and Workforce Development departments, we provide employers the tools to connect with well-trained employees, further training to existing employees, and offer customized training solutions.

We work with our clients to ensure our trainings exceed all requirements and on a schedule that is best for them. Our teams mission mirrors that of UAHT as we strive to offer comprehensive educational services to our communities in Hempstead, Lafayette, Nevada, Miller, Bowie and Cass counties.

Hempstead Hall and the University of Arkansas Hope-Texarkana are proud to offer free training space for our area businesses. Hempstead Hall will waive the room rental fees for any event where job-related training is being offered by a sponsoring Hempstead County business or industry as long as the event is being offered free-of-charge to the attendees. (Fees for specialized equipment, additional services, set up and/or off-schedule use may still apply.)

For more information about the UAHT Industry Relations or Workforce Development services, or to see if your event qualifies for the Workforce Development Rate, please contact Akili Moses Israel at akili.mosesisrael@uaht.edu.
