The Hempstead Guarantee Scholarship from the University of Arkansas Hope-Texarkana covers your first year of college. That’s right, you can attend UAHT your first year at NO COST! Tuition, fees, and book rentals are paid for after any financial aid you qualify for.

How to Claim Your Free Year:

1. Complete the UAHT application for admission at https://www.uaht.edu/admissions/apply-now.php by January 31.
2. Complete the State of Arkansas Scholarship application at https://sams.adhe.edu/ by May 1.
3. Graduate from a high school in Hempstead County, Arkansas.
4. Complete the FAFSA application at https://studentaid.gov/h/apply-for-aid/fafsa and submit all financial aid documents by May 31.
5. Enroll in at least 12 credit hours for the fall semester by June 30.
