GenCyber Summer Camps
INSPIRING THE NEXT GENERATION OF CYBER STARS!
The GenCyber Summer Camp program provides exciting, hands-on cybersecurity experiences for students in 7-12 grade. Students will explore various aspects of cybersecurity with hands-on exercises focusin on GenCyber concepts including: Defense in Depth, Confidentiality, Integrity, Availability, Think Like an Adversary, and Keep it Simple. Plus, students will explore career pathways in cybersecurity, equipping the next generation with vital skills to address growing digital security challenges.
No previous cybersecurity knowledge is required. GenCyber Camp is entirely FREE. All camp materials will be provided free of charge for hands-on learning. Students will receive a Certificate of Achievement at the end of the camp. Funding is jointly provided by the National Security Agency and National Science Foundation. Goals of GenCyber Camp
- Expose high school students to potential careers and issues in cybersecurity.
- Teach students to secure their digital lifestyle.
- Demonstrate to students why "Internet of Things" devices need to be secured.
- Teach the GenCyber First Principles, cybersecurity ethics and online safety and hygiene.
GenCyber Subjects Covered

In addition to these cybersecurity concepts, GenCyber camp will also cover:
- Cryptography
- Cryptanalysis

- Python programming

Join our engaging GenCyber Summer Camp at UA Little Rock! Students dive into the fundamentals of cybersecurity through exciting hands-on activities and expert guidance. Participants will interact with industry experts to explore education and career paths in cybersecurity while experiencing cutting-edge simulations that put them in the shoes of both the defender and the adversary.
The camp runs from July 7 - 10 and July 14 - 17, from 8:30 AM - 1:00 PM each day. Attendance for both weeks is required. Open to rising students in grades 7-12, the camp is completely free and available both in person and online.

Become a next generation cyber superstar! The University of Arkansas Hope-Texarkana will offer a FREE two-week GenCyber Cybersecurity summer camp on July 14-17 and July 21-24 from 8:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. each day on the UAHT Texarkana campus. GenCyber camp aims to provide hands-on training and promote education and career pathways in cybersecurity, equipping the next generation with vital skills to address growing digital security challenges. The camp is open to rising students in grades 7-12 and will be offered at no cost to students and their families. A Spanish translator will be available.
