Each year, the University of Arkansas Hope-Texarkana honors an outstanding faculty member. UAHT is proud to announce that this year's winner is Pamela Vanhook. Vanhook has served as a member of the health professions faculty at the college since 2021.

According to her nomination letter, "Pamela’s unwavering dedication, passion, and commitment exemplify the qualities we value in outstanding faculty members at UAHT. She approaches her work with diligence and compassion and is never one to complain. Her positive attitude and willingness to go above and beyond is worthy of emulation. She truly has a servant’s heart. Even when faced with odd and unusual work schedules, she supports others, always smiling brightly. Her love for her job and students shines through in every endeavor, from active participation in campus activities, committees, and clubs to promoting our college within the community. Pamela’s positive attitude, compassionate heart, exceptional work ethic, and unwavering support for others make her deserving of this award.”
